CHILD STAR is a novel told in three parts. Each part is about 25,000 – 30,000 words. Amelia London is America’s sweetheart. Noah Sloan is America’s bad boy. Both are former child stars and once were lovers. When they are cast as the leads in the upcoming erotic suspense blockbuster—Sinners Like Us—they are forced to come to terms with the issues that tore them apart to begin with. As the whole world watches, can they keep their secrets hidden? After all, everybody is a sinner…
Child star: Part 1 is a snippet of a full book that is in a series. I am unsure whether I like the idea of installments, because it could get a little expensive.
Amelia is america’s sweet child actress, but she is so board with the reputation that she has as an innocent little girl, and what better way to do that then to start in Sinners like us. As Amelia turns up for her audition, she is stunned to find that the costar who is playing the male cast is her ex-boyfriend Noah.
Noah is a pretty big bad boy in the acting world. He mocks Amelia as soon as he realises she’s came to try out for the role, even though deep down he still has a lot of feelings for her.
It is only a matter of time before they start to realise their feelings for each other again.
I loved the story line, Noah and Amelia seem perfect for each other, but there is always something that gets in the way of them being together, which we find out why the main reason as to why they split up all them years ago right at the end, making it a big cliff hanger ending, but this is an installment book, so if you want to find out what happens next, you’d have to buy the next two books.
I could the major sexual tension between the two characters, and I loved reading about it.
